The HPE Storage Multiservice Switch C-series SN6640C is a flexible switch for deploying SAN extension solutions, distributed intelligent fabric services, and cost-effective multiprotocol connectivity for open systems. It offers advanced capabilities available only to director class switches. With a compact form factor and advanced capabilities, the HPE Storage Multiservice Switch C-series SN6640C is an ideal solution for departmental and remote branch-office SANs as well as in large-scale SANs in conjunction with HPE Storage C-series SN8700C multilayer directors. The HPE Storage Multiservice Switch C-series SN6640C offers up to twelve 32 Gbps Fibre Channel ports, four 1/10, two 25 or one 40 Gigabit Ethernet IP storage services ports, in a fixed One-Rack-Unit (1RU) form factor. It connects to existing native Fibre Channel networks, protecting current investments in storage networks.
