HPE Mainframe Suite Performance

Permitting multiple paths to the same logical device, HPE XP7 for Compatible Parallel Access Volumes (PAV) Software greatly enhances the performance of data accesses to the HPE XP7 Storage by a mainframe host. High Performance FICON for system z or zHPEF, an enhancement of FICON channel architecture gives compatibility with Fibee Channel Physical and Signaling standard (FC-FS), Fiber Channel Switch Fabric and Switch Control Requirements (FC-SW), and Fiber Channel Single-Byte-4 (FC-SB-4) standards.
