HPE HQ5Y4E 5Y FC NBD Exchange Switch Service | HPE Support — HQ5Y4E

Protect essential network access with HPE 5Y FC NBD EXCH EDU/R 5945 SWITCH SVC. This five-year service is designed to shorten disruption when a supported switch fails, replacing hardware on a next-business-day basis so IT teams can restore service without waiting through extended repair cycles. For education and remote environments, fast exchange coverage matters. Network switches sit at the center of learning platforms, authentication, collaboration tools, and campus connectivity. When one fails, the impact spreads quickly. This service helps reduce that risk by giving teams a clear support path and predictable replacement timing. HPE service coverage is especially valuable where internal spares are limited or where maintaining uptime across distributed sites is more important than managing repair logistics. It supports a more disciplined operating model: fewer delays, less manual coordination, and faster return to normal operations after a hardware incident. Choose this service when the cost of network interruption is higher than the cost of protection. It adds practical continuity for environments that depend on stable switching performance every day. Ideal For Campus network switches supporting classrooms and administrative systems Remote education sites that need fast replacement after hardware failure Distributed switching environments with limited on-site spare inventory IT teams standardizing support coverage across managed network hardware Why This Product 1 Faster recovery than standard return-to-depot support 2 Better fit for distributed sites than break-fix repair 3 Longer coverage horizon than one-year service plans 4 Designed for switch continuity in education environments
