Cisco SP-ECMU-LA9KMOPS L3 VPN License for MOD8 | SWSS Upgrade — SP-ECMU-LA9KMOPS

Keep MOD8 environments covered with a Cisco SWSS upgrade license designed for Layer 3 VPN entitlement continuity. This licensing item is intended for organizations that need to preserve support status and maintain access to software maintenance coverage tied to the existing product line. For infrastructure teams, the value is straightforward: avoid gaps in support, keep procurement aligned with the installed base, and maintain a clean licensing posture for network operations. In environments where VPN services are part of a broader service provider or enterprise network design, support continuity matters as much as the hardware itself. This Cisco licensing entry is best suited for teams managing lifecycle renewals, entitlement updates, or upgrade paths tied to MOD8 deployments. It helps ensure the installed environment remains properly covered under the applicable software support program, reducing administrative friction during audits, renewals, and expansion planning. When uptime, compliance, and vendor support access matter, the right license keeps the network on track without forcing a disruptive platform change. Ideal For Renewing support for an existing MOD8 Layer 3 VPN deployment Maintaining entitlement coverage during a software lifecycle extension Aligning procurement records with installed Cisco network services Closing support gaps before an audit or renewal deadline Why This Product 1 Maintains support continuity instead of leaving the deployment uncovered 2 Matches the existing MOD8 environment rather than forcing a platform change 3 Supports lifecycle planning with a defined Cisco upgrade path 4 Helps keep procurement and entitlement records aligned
