Cisco DNAC1 Essentials Term C4500X High Renewal Only | Software Licensing

Keep your Catalyst 4500X environment covered with a Cisco DNA Essentials term renewal license designed specifically for installed-base continuity. This entitlement is intended for organizations that already have the platform in place and need to extend software coverage without disrupting operations or reworking the hardware footprint. Essentials is the right fit when the priority is maintaining core Cisco DNA access for the switch rather than expanding into higher-tier capabilities. The 1-year term gives procurement teams a clean renewal cycle and helps network operations stay aligned with current licensing status. For enterprises managing large switch fleets, that clarity matters: it simplifies budgeting, reduces coverage gaps, and keeps the renewal process tied to a known asset base. Because this is renewal-only, it is best suited to existing Cisco customers with active Catalyst 4500X deployments. It supports disciplined lifecycle management and helps ensure the software entitlement stays aligned with the hardware already in service. Ideal For Renewing software coverage on an installed Catalyst 4500X switch Maintaining Cisco DNA Essentials access for an existing enterprise network Planning annual licensing spend for a campus switching estate Closing coverage gaps before a current entitlement expires Why This Product 1 Essentials tier versus Advantage for core coverage needs 2 Renewal-only entitlement versus new purchase licensing 3 1-year term versus multi-year commitments for tighter control 4 Catalyst 4500X-specific coverage versus broad platform licensing
