Cisco Alteon D-9800S Perform 240G | Cloud Licensing, Enterprise — RD-9800S-240G-P

Maintain consistent application delivery capacity with Cisco Alteon D-9800S Perform - 240G. This licensing package is designed for enterprise environments where traffic growth, user demand, and service continuity all depend on dependable performance planning. By aligning the deployment to a 240G class entitlement, it gives infrastructure teams a clear path for scaling application delivery without guessing at capacity thresholds. For organizations running customer-facing portals, internal business systems, or latency-sensitive services, the value is in control. You can standardize procurement around a defined performance tier, reduce the risk of under-sizing critical services, and keep architecture decisions tied to measurable capacity. That matters when the cost of a bottleneck is measured in lost transactions, delayed workflows, and support escalation. Cisco’s Alteon licensing model is suited to teams that want to match spend to operational demand rather than overbuying hardware they do not need. It is a practical fit for environments where performance assurance, budget discipline, and future expansion all need to stay in balance. Ideal For Sizing application delivery capacity for customer-facing enterprise portals Planning licensing for traffic-heavy internal business applications Standardizing performance entitlements across distributed infrastructure teams Supporting procurement for a defined 240G application delivery tier Why This Product 1 Defined 240G entitlement for capacity planning 2 Better fit for enterprise traffic growth than ad hoc licensing 3 Supports procurement tied to measurable performance needs 4 Designed for application delivery environments requiring predictable scaling
